The VCSBSA partners with our members and two Joint Powers Authorities (JPAs):

• Ventura County Schools Self-Funding Authority (VCSSFA) for our property and liability program, as wll as our workers' compensation program, and

• Self-Insured Schools of California (SISC) for health and welfare benefits

Our goal is to meet our members' needs by consistently providing quality, cost effective resources. By partnering with the VCSSFA we can purchase economical insurance programs that include safety training, safety audits and risk management assistance through the VCSSFA Risk Manager and the Safety Committee. By partnering with SISC we are able to offer our memeber districts a wide variety of health and welfare plan designs at a much lower cost than we could obtain on our own or with other groups.
